Day 1

Day 1

First day of the blog and my public diary. I just completed my undergrad, and with my new found free time, I decided to start a blog! I have never been one fond of writing, or even reading, but I am always up to try something new and challenging (plus, I think this will be fun!).  I want to document my every day life, health and fitness goals, personal feats, careers, people, and everything in between. So much life passes by every day, and not enough time is spent remembering moments that shape the future or that are truly meaningful. I want to be able to look back and remember a specific moment and how I felt at that time. I want this to be the place to slow everything down and reflect on this sweet, sweet life.

bee-ridge. It is what many friends have called me for....hmmm, well for as long as I can remember. bee-ridge and chocolate, but we wont get into the chocolate nick name I am happy that one is no longer in play. My birth name is Bridgette. Ive only ever met 2 or 3 other Bridgettes in my life, and I think like one of those spelled it the same way as me. The title of this blog symbolizes my journey through life. I have no idea where it is headed, or what the future holds, but I will embrace it with open arms as I travel this bridge (life) to any where that it takes me!

I have two babies ( kittens that is). I am obsessed with cats and kittens in general, but especially my munchkins. Lily, is a cow cat colored cat (mostly white with lots of black spotting). She was rescued and given to me at 2 days old a long with her sister. I bottle fed them, and tended to them for three months. That is when Lily's sister was given to her forever home </3. Lily is now 2.5 years old. Before Lily was Jezabel. Jezabel is a beautiful chubby calico girl who was given to me for my birthday. She is 3.5 years old.

I just moved back home ( into my parents house,,.oh the overwhelming joy), after being away to college for 5.5 years. Thankfully, I leave for New York on Wednesday to visit the boyfriend, so at least my parents wont have a chance to get on my nerves just yet (love you mom and dad ;)) Oh yeah, and the boy friend...hes only the most handsome man I have ever laid my eyes on (insert heart for eyes here). Long distance is a real pain, but its nice to have something to look so forward to that your bursting at the seams. Its nice to miss someone and be missed. The relationship feels fresher. And the hellos are so, so special. But the good-byes are heart wrenching every. single. time. Im excited to see what the future will hold for us. 4 month count down to the one year anniversary <3.

last thought of the night (although its technically morning). I had the yummiest bowl of oatmeal this morning 1/2c old fashioned oats, 1c water, 1 packet sugar in the raw, 1 banana, a small handful of blueberries, 1 tbsp of natural peanut butter, and a tiny splash of milk. YUM! so filling and delicious. I cant wait to get back from my trip, eat healthy, and get my booty in the gym. I so need it!

may your bridge lead you to happiness
with forever love
